Protection methods Posted by George 7a PA on December 22, 2024, 3:20 pm, in reply to "A little snow today on the palms." I covered them up, not pretty but should do. I will have to design a more modular system to make it easier. Appreciate any suggestions. Built an A frame for the big one, and had a cylindrical PVC structure that I could slip over the smaller one.

The neighbors probably know why you covered what is under them, if they have any concerns. Other than that, who cares what they think (unless you have one of those housing area watchgroups).

Polar Vortex could drop down.... Posted by Rob N TN on December 22, 2024, 8:11 pm, in reply to "Protection methods" Looking good in PA. George I did see a forecast calling for snow and possible Vortex north of here with lots of snow. You need to string some mini Christmas lights under those tarps for z7. If you haven't done so yet, you have a few days. Also if that Vortex hits (it will be bad here) I will try to throw some old blankets over a few things. Cant mess around with a polar vortex.
