My sasanqua camellias are blooming like crazy... Posted by Kevin seTN on November 10, 2024, 5:13 pm With all the warm temperatures and no frost or freeze, it's been a great season for these camellias. I only wish we could get some good rains. I see a lot of sasanqua here but more japonicas later in year, usually, I have only one sasanqua and one japonica, both started from seed by me.

Fall and winter is Camellia time, indeed. Were there any plants around them, during the growing season? Camellia green leaves are sufficient, though.

Yep, that's what I was asking. I know alot of plants are not in bloom, for large parts of the year, and are just green shrubs, when not in bloom.
