Pollinators at work Posted by Fred SC on November 8, 2024, 10:55 am I just took out garbage and decided to record these insects acting as pollinators on Fatsia japonica. Bumblebees, flies, wasps, yellow jackets and other forms of bee snd wasp. Some are so small they don’t show up in pictures. I do have a lot of flowing plants in pots so maybe he found a snack as he prepares for a very long trip south.

Yellow jackets are the most menacing, and will simply sting people for no reason. They love perfumes of all kinds, including those in soaps. These scents draw them to people, for them to get stung.
