It looks like a spring bloomer, Pink Snow, April Dawn or even one called Pink Common. Im hoping my April Tryst will bloom in March 2025. Its grown 4 feet since a freeze back 2 years ago. Thanks for sharing. Weather oddities yesterday on Halloween. Over a foot of snow fell yesterday in below freezing temps in the island mountains of Hawaii, especially Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea and the Volcanos National Park while most of the rest of the mainland USA enjoyed temps in the 80*s and 90*s

With climate change , it seems like nothing’s ever wet predictable now. We are so very dry. We haven’t had rain since we had the hurricane damage and all my plants were just drying up. I gave her water through four weeks ago. I watered anything so I’m hoping my hydrangeas survive.

Possibly due to less plants in bloom, especially those that produce the most nectar, this time of year. I also read that bumble bees are often eaten by animals, like opposums and raccoons. So this could contribute to me not seeing them, this time of year. Bees use pollen to feed developing larvae, in their hives. Health food stores even sell pollen for human consumption. Pollen is rather high in protein. Below is a pic of what I got from my resident "girls. Surprised to see them actually. Sure hope you get rain soon Looks rainy here for a few days in the coming week. I bet you will finally get some. It's been a long dry summer in Dixie.
