Gingko biloba fall coloring up Posted by Fred DC on October 22, 2024, 9:23 am My bonsai is showing its fall chartreuse color. It will actually get much deeper. I was just out this morning and decided to picture it. I need to trim it a little. I have neglected it for a year or two. It stays out year around. Once they turn up here, they are a bright neon yellow. Believe it or not, they haven't turned yet, up here. Maybe, a few more lows, in the 30s will do it. I have to check my 'Chi Chinese, though.

Your lack of rain (me as well) and a cool morning or two have the trees looking odd. The drought is hurting fall color here on the Cumberland Plateau.

They are incredibslly beautiful in fall color. Mine will get a much more intense color before the leaves all fall. Leaves tend to drop all at once within a day or two.

I have never seen it much drier than this right now. We won’t have much fall l color anywhere around here. Leaves hanging limp on the trees.
