Looking good Fred. I have a lot of the ones blooming that you have too. My gardenia is still cranking out blooms. Do you have any gardenias? Do you like them?

No Gardenas here , Kevin. I love the odor of bloom but dislike how blooms turn a dirty yellow after a time, just one of my hang up’s, lol. Neighbors across street have some very large ones and the odor fills the air in my yard from them. I love the shiny foliage. One neighbor has a dwarf one that is 25 or more years old snd is still only about 18inches tall. I like it.

Fred those plants look so good and quite an assortment. The FL/NC Hurricane brought me 7" of rain but haven't had a drop since or several weeks before that, so things are very dry hear again and most blooming has shut down unless your watering. My neighbors Angel Trumpets are blooming again and I have an old heirloom crape still blooming a little. Lots of potted stuff still going but that dont count haha Thanks for sharing

Fred, there are some new varieties of Bigleaf Hydrangeas, called 'Endless Summer', that are a reblooming class. Their color range ranges from pink to deep blue, depending on soil pH. You may have gotten some cuttings from this type of Hydrangea.
Yeah, the type of Asian persimmon you have there, Fred, needs to be mushy, before eaten. I heard that persimmons can be frozen, in the freezer, and then thawed to create a faster "ripening effect".

Thanks, Alvin! No, these alll came off of the same two original Hydrangea of mine. Kinda nice having second bloom. Freezing persimmon to hasten ripening, always something new under the sun to learn. Thanks!

Thanks, Rob. No frost predicted here for the next 10 days. These flowers should be on for a while if they don’t die from . It’s also very dry here we’ve had no rain since the hurricane . Speaking of the hurricane trucks, big trucks came in yesterday and cleaned up the debris that’s been powered along the street here in the subdivision unbelievable amount of wood. And asked if he could take a picture of my agave alifolia. He was excited to get the picture. I took a picture with him in front of it. He said he would cherish you forever., lol. They were from Green Bay, Wisconsin. So I guess he was used to say anything like a guy is planted outside. I think they should arrive has frost before you did. No no killing Frost , Probably before Halloween. The trees here are beginning to turn just a little bit. It’s been so dry. I think that’s hindering the whole color.

Yeah, Fred, I heard that in Asia, persimmons are allowed to freeze on the tree, and then are
picked, and eaten like a freeze pop.

Interesting, Fred, how the pictured Datura seems to be "spilling over" that fence. They usually grow like shrubs, rather than scramblers.

My bottlebrush stopped blooming. I think this is because the sun path changes, by fall. It is now in mostly shade.

Impatiens are still blooming, too in my garden. Here is a pic of my Imps:

Also, Fred, you mentioned that you didn't like how Gardenia blooms turn yellow. Here's a pic of a flower bud on my Chuck Hayes. It has begun to turn yellow, even before opening. I think the yellowish color, is due to the light frost it got, last week:

Thanks, Alvin. Actually, Alvin, the Datura is spilling over the fence is just a limb of a much larger plant you can’t see because of corner of house .
