November and December aren't usually bad. Second, it only takes a day or so to really wreck things. So if we have above temps mixed with a very bad day or two, it could still be a mild average. I hope we have a nice normal and mild winter. Not one with no freezing temps then the bottom falls out. Best wishes for you and everyone else as well. We are due for a very mild winter. Kevin seTN

The 4 Corners area on down to the Big Bend of Texas and south of Orlando has it going on. Hope its a short and mild one here.

You know my worst damages happen in the spring after it seems to have warmed up then a freeze will come. Luckily most events are brief but those Jan-Feb temps can get violent. Im still (after all these years) looking for an escape with a good microclimate, close ro my area. Florida is off the table as is South Carolina. Northern GA is a sweet spot, even southmost TN (south of Dunlap). Its fun to speculate Thanks buddy, keep publishing.

This might be one of your better winters Fred, sure hope so. Thanks

It's a trade off but I wouldn't want to have to deal with all those big city problems. I just want a mild winter that is kind to my palms.
