Butia and Big Palm Posted by Jason Western PA on September 5, 2024, 8:29 pm Butia is has been doing great! It's put on a few inches of height. DRUM ROLL!! What 4 years does. Great for the palm but my boys are growing as fast. CRY!!!

It put on a lot of new fronds so far this summer. I will post a pic of her palm soon. Your Trachy has grown fast. My goodness those ‘youngins’ have grown! Owen, especially is almost n recognizable to how he looked when here. Dorothy said, ‘Oh my how cute’. They grow fast. When they get about 12 or 13 they quickly sprout up. My grandson is 5’10” now and going to Greenville Tech. Seems like yesterday I was putting him in a car seat. Now he has his own car!! Enjoy the kids as much as possible because they will be grown in a few years. I know you and Jen are proud of the boys

So proud you travel with them as time permits because they will always remember it. That Trachycarpus is huge, love that monster. Never let your guard down Jason (speaking from z6b/z7a experience) My Butia I lost was similar in size and I wish I had protected it better. Love the trunk on that palm. Amazing photos and thanks for posting them. It was great to hear of Fred's grandson and Tom's girls in the thread. Beautiful families here for sure. Thanks.

I'm doing much better than the past 6 months so I'm thankful but not worthy. appreciate you asking. I'm glad you've not been called out on any weather related missions so far this season. Here locally, a nephew and his team are rarely asked to deploy to other states. Hope we get through the hurricane season quickly. There has been several Americans to die this year from tropical storms Alberto and Beryl. I could not do your job friend, be safe.

If she likes dubbing then her own class room would be even better. I taught for 30 years before retirement and would have taught longer if my wife had not died snd sent me into deep depression for a time. Y’all stop by anytime you are close , we would love that.
