Ruellia simplex Posted by Fred SC on August 19, 2024, 5:13 pm Mexican petunia. It is rated zone 8 but with a good mulch zone 7 is my guess, I do like the intense derp blue. I have the regular purple and the dwarf pink variety. It's hardy. It's currently being trial tested in family 's gardens in zone 6B and 6A. Kevin seTN

KEV it is hardy here too, not sure if its a southern thing (southern z6b/z7a) but I love it. I had some years ago, not sure what happened to it, drought or super freeze so Id like to try it again.
