Chamaerops humilis ‘Volcano’ Posted by Fred SC on January 8, 2021, 3:24 pm I ordered a small Chamaerops ‘Volcano’ this morning off of Etsy. It is a seedling for 18 dollars free shipping. If I can grow it to any size I will plant among my Xeric cactii, Agave, I will grow in pot for a couple years; guess. Yucca and succulents. I love the look of this one. AJ may have this one; I forget. If he does, maybe he will post a picture again.

It showed it in a small pot. I hope it is potted. I bought a small barefoot Washington filifera last year that subsequently died . It was dried out when I got it. I tried with it but it continued to dry up and die,

There would be more if HD still sold the blue pot palms here. There is one very tall one at a Walmart here. I had a nice one in Zgreer and paid a nice sum to relocate it here. It died. The crook I hired said he had moved hundreds in Charleston but it was a lie. He dug it up and made a mess of it. It was my wife’s favorite tree.

It took me z15 days to get a shipment ordered as 2 day shipping during Christmas rush. It is still slow Ihear. I dread the day drones start delivering them. Can you imagine? Already we have drones hovering over our hood from time to time snooping or whatever. This is not kind of world we want I hope but fear it is happening.
