A friend took this today between Monterey and Cookeville at his house. They travel down from Big South Fork National Park and were reintroduced 40 years ago there.
The news reported the other day that non problematic bears are sent here from the GSMNP. Too many over there. Exciting to see them but they are becoming a nuisance. Hunting is by bow and arrow only. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned any in Rutherford.
