After checking out the video below, and if you didn't know it was in SOUTH FLORIDA, you'd think it was some northern gardener, attempting to grow stuff too tender for her garden. Interestingly, the pines, in the background, looked unscathed, while even some of the palms on her property, were damaged. So, "zonal denial" occurs even in South Florida. Notice that some of the fruit trees that were protected, because they were smaller LOOK GREAT. This freeze occured earlier, this month, while parts of the North were below zero. Yet, those who protected their plants, may have the results she had from plants she protected. She said she is devastated, but is not giving up hope on growing "too tender for her zone" plants. She thinks that some may have die-back, but re-grow...
