No, thank you Mark for sending me the photos. The prior night I watched live reports as the storm moved in. There were Hurricane Hunters covering the Nor'easter on YouTube. They were on the coast of New Jersey driving in deludes of ocean spray and torrential downpours of snow in 77 mph winds. I couldn't believe how scary it was. They could have easily been lapped over into the sea.
Warwick RI had about 40" of snow. The heaviest snow totals from Nor'easter Hernando were in a swath from New Jersey to southeast Massachusetts.
At one time, snow was falling at the rate of 4 inches per hour. Mark if your brother still lives out on Long Island, the majority of townships received just over 2' of snow and heavier near Islip and Patchogue at around 3' . Parts of The city got 2' and many areas around 1'
I can't imagine playing in snow this deep just north of you. Thanks and be careful moving those tree branches.
