Kevin from SE TN got me interested in Red Hot Pokers because of the brilliant colors and structure of the plant and they are hardy for many of us at z6 and higher.
I've always wanted to try the Flax, I think there is a native blue and yellow flax in Tennessee but look different than other Flax plants. North Dakota has more Flax than any other place in America making it the leading producer of flax for oil and food use in the U.S. Some of the Russian plants are amazing. That Iceberg Climbing Rose with it's creamy translucent color would be a nice Rose to have.
Fred , so sorry to hear of Ms Dorothy falling. Im a fall risk too and have to be careful. What may seem like a little fall can have a devastating effect. If that happens again Fred, she needs to go in to ER to consider if any potential underlying medical reasons or any medication-related issues could be contributing to the falls. I will continue praying for you both friend and wishing you a quick return to warmer weather. Doing well here Fred but I need to see my cancer doctor. So hard to get back in line if you miss an appointment, Thanks friend.
