Thanks Fred, Ive always wanted to try S.louisiana but a good specimen is hard to find so I went with these two @ 1g. I will be ok with the S.palmettos for a few years (they think and grow like S. minors when young. Im still going for a b/b this year. I may have to go to FL to find one with about 4 ft of trunk. Gracias Fred

I have daffodils popping up but with a chance of snow, ice and chilly temps next week, they won't last long after this "proverbial January thaw"
Haven't had any snow or ice yet but looks like next week my weather goes nuts. You might even hear of a light dusting near Landrum-Campobello area in South Carolina next week. Get them Long Johns out
