Id like to get some Pines, but will have to settle for another type evergreen tree. I'm till planning for a Big Leaf Magnolia. The only place I've seen them has been turned into a scenic overlook on state property so may have to buy one.
I likely won't try Butia again. I've killed two. Yours look great. Good luck with it. My brown Turkey Fig grew so huge I had to take it out. What a job that was. It never did fruit well and often attacked by wasp. I would only get a couple dozen fruits each year, but they tasted great. The canopy overshadowed everything in a decent microclimate in just a few years. I like old world plants though, Sago, Date Palm and Fig. Appreciate seeing this. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
