For those who may not know, Atemoyas are tropical fruit trees that are "Annonas" (which are tropical forms of the hardy PawPaw). Atemoyas are hybrid crosses of two different tropical Annonas...cherimoyas and sugar apples or sweetsops.
The plant came through the winter indoors, pretty well, in a cool room. It lost some of its leaves, in winter. So, it is semi-deciduous. After going back outside, it began forming new leaves. Now, it appears to be setting a few flower buds. In the pic below, you can see the flower buds near the top of the pic. If they don't fall off, I may hand-pollinate them, with a mini paint brush. Geffner is supposed to be self-pollinating, but most other Atemoyas are said to need hand pollination, in areas outside tropical areas, because the beetles that normally pollinate Annonas, are not locally present...
