I finally got around to picking my first mess of collard greens, today. You might remember that I set out 19 starts, in a 3 x 4 ft space. These many plants planted in a small space, creates alot of shade, especially for leaves closer to the ground. I still have to make another initial picking. These first bags will likely go into the freezer.
