My grandfathers youngest first-cousin, died suddenly of cancer. He was 95 and his wife had passed many years ago. He was such a joy to talk to. He took great pride in being a member of Tennessee's Century Farm Owners. He belonged to the 100 year family ownership program. His survivors were only nieces and a nephew and they always gave him purpose. A christian life well lived. Thanks friend.
The weather was amazing and about 80* everyday. They had some cooler weather prior and I'm sure they will see it again. Early January may not let anyone escape the weather on the way but until then its 50s/60s here and lows in 40s/50s. I'll take it.
Glad to hear your stepdaughter made it to West Palm and left that snow behind. They had been missing out on the snow up there in what seems, several years. Lots of snow coming for the northern tier soon.
I brought back a couple of camellias and a nice 3g windmill and before I left saw where I could get some 5g palmettos for cheap but I had to leave earlier than planned. Rob in Bristol, if you see this, hopefully next time. Sorry. The larger Sabal Palmettos were so pricey. What was once a $50 deal are now selling for $400 minimum. Inflation has hit the palm trade.
Its time to plan on spring just the same, No more quarterly NWS forecast graphics, they are never correct. Ill be going on my own forecasts.
Looking for crocus and snow drops, birds and butterflies, the peepers and budding branches.
Gracias Fred.
