There is a Norway Maple cultivar known as Crimson King Maple, that keeps its burgundy-purple leaves all season, but does not have the same fall color, as the standard Norway Maple does.
Fall color here has been good, but not great. Early fall, here, was warmer than normal and dry, as well.
In more exposed sites, the Chinese pistachio turns more red, than the orange it shows, in my garden.
My impatiens are still blooming, too, but my finally be killed by frost, over the weekend. Never recall them lasting to December. The upcoming month will bring more normal, early winter-like temps, it seems.
