We did not get as much rain as I thought we might from this one. It's a little hard to tell since it was raining some already before the storm moved through yesterday. Considering everything in the past couple of days, we got just under an inch. It was a fast moving storm. In one day. it had come ashore on the panhandle of Florida and by the end of the day it was heading for St Louis. Crazy!
However, the Washington weather person I watch said that the remnants of Helene would mix with another system in the Midwest and move eastward. So...., we are supposed to get some rain Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Today, the skies cleared and it was sunny and around 80°. We haven't seen much sun all week.
