Huge storm tropical rain bands are clobbering Cincinnati and outer bands to Pittsburg and areas northward. Ohio has been needing rain badly and the southern areas are getting it.
Louisville and Indianapolis are getting heavy tropical rains as well. What a storm.
My final rain totals look to be a good 6.5" so far, rain bands will swing back through (currently windy and misty rain) before ending tomorrow night. NWS suggesting another 1/2" or so before ending by then. 4 days ago the Nation Drought Monitor was showing Ohio, W.VA and Tennessee as the worst in the country. South Carolina had a severe area around Anderson and northward into the mountains.
Surely this storm has been a positive for this drought. Looks like KENTUCKY may beat #6 OLE MISS in Mississippi
