Here is a pic of another of my "baker's dozen" Camellias, I put in the ground, in late spring. It came as a gallon plant from Forestfarm, and was kept containerized for a few years. The cultivar is: 'April Kiss'.
Before going in the ground, it was in a large 2-gallon pot.
Check it out, next year's flower buds are forming. For some reason, japonicas tend to form flower buds earlier, even though they bloom later, than sasanquas...

Here is a NEW PLANT, I got from Plant Delights Nursery. Actually, had ordered it, back in winter, with other plants, but this one was on backorder, and they were able to send it in July. It is a TREE DAHLIA, to replace the one I had that got more and more, shaded over, over several years, until it simply didn't return, this year.
This new plant will have DOUBLE pink flowers, if it ever blooms in my garden. They don't bloom until November, which usually gets the plant frosted, before flower buds open. Still, though, in sunnier spots, the plants can soar 10-12 feet, by seasons end, EVEN HERE!
