You're right, the veggie is spinach. I like it cooked or raw. I have used it as a lettuce substitute on sandwiches, too. Spinach, kale, and collards are among the most nutritious forms of greens, on the planet. The other smaller seedlings, in the pot are turnip greens.
Maybe I'll get flowers and berries on my Nandinas (although I have had them for years, but never had blooms and fruits).
Correctomundo again, Fred, on the birthflower, for those born in May, being Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis).
I am hoping the Parasol Tree grows slower, here, so I can enjoy the large leaves longer, at eye level.
