The Pink Snowball is one of two snowball types of Viburnums, in my yard. Although not fragrant, my White Snowball will be in full bloom soon. I have Ave a couple other Viburnums, as well.
After reading something online, I heard that sugar cane can be grown, and produce edible stalks, in a large container. Edible sugar cane is not hardy.
Although not yet tested in z6, The Coppertalica Magnolia is rated only z7 hardy. At one time, though Southern Mags were rated not lower than z7.
