You mentioned your needle and glad to hear its growing in the cool weather. Fertilze it this spring Tom and in the fall and keep ice out of it.
After 2 years of subzero lows I have never had to remove so many damaged fronds on mature sabal minor. The palms are OK but a few fronds on every one, have needed to be trimmed of burnt foliage.
maybe next winter will be better. We seem to have a warmer winter with La Niña.
