My entire city lot is 41' x 181'. This includes my house and an unattached 1 car garage. However, I have ALOT of plant species, in my collection. Some in the ground, and many of my subtropicals and tropicals remain containerized, due to a lack of ground space. Every square foot of my available ground space has something growing on it. Very little lawn left to complain about mowing now!
I garden intensely. Even my veggies and fruits are grown in small spaces. This is one of the reason why I prefer to grow dwarfs, or slow growers, as opposed to full size plants. Generally, I post only plants I am growing in my space, and not other folks plants. Last fall, I posted a few pics of area shade trees with fall color, last autumn.. I could never add anymore full sized shade trees on my property (already have 3, Lol!).
That pic of my Bularian Windmill, almost shows half of my front yard. I generally show individual plants, because all do not "do their thing", simultaneously. Each gets its 15 minutes of fame. I also do it this way, because panoramic views do not detail plants that others may not already be growing, but perhaps interested in growing, or maybe not know about.
I love plants of all kinds. My garden reflects the diversity of my plant interests.
