Thank you for sharing the name of your Dasylirion. Now thats one that can survive here I've written the name down for safe keeping. Although I dont know Greg Starr or ever spoke to him, I did have a friend visit him around 2005 and he picked up my Yucca elata for me when he was out west and Greg gave him his card. I still have it. I think I will send him a note and ask him if he could help me locate one. (Dasylirion miquihuanense) and I would be thankful to get any size I could get.
Lloyd thanks for the information. I'm shocked you all are growing Dasylirion miquihuanense since its not a hardy type and so glad your wife likes arid plants. I know a few wives that dont share the love of tropical and arid plants
