We will be milder, up here, by Midwestern standards, over the next several days, but not mild enough to uncover stuff, yet.
You still have about as much snow, on the ground, there, as up here. Rains over the next few days, should do away with it though. Haven't seen the sun, in days. The melting snow, and evaporation, creates pea soup fog, as well.
Yep, Styrofoam boxes, coolers, and structures make great plant protection materials.
