I wanted to let everyone know that long-time member and friend Ned Rahn passed away recently. Ned was a native and resident of Port Royal, SC, and for many years operated a small nursery specializing in citrus and other fruiting plants. There are several citrus now in general cultivation that he was responsible for propagating and getting to a wider market. He was a generous supporter of the Southeastern Palm Society and he and his wife Faye were active participants in our Society. He will be missed by many.
