Re: In My Garden Today
Alvin, yorur Bracken Magnolia looks healthy. Ray Bracken nursery is not far from me at all no more than 25 miles is my guess? Your Deodar Cedar is a nice one. They grow a lot of the Deodar Cedars here, especially in the past. You see a lot at older homes. I do not see any planted at newer homes. Their form is bwith your species of Pittosporum but I am familiar with the species wheeler, as iI see it a lot in landscapes plantings here especially the variegated form. One of my neighbors has one in their planting. The little Torrea grands is quite nice with its fine Cypress-like foliage. I am not familiar with it. I am familiar with the ones native to the west coast. Actually woodlander's nursery is in Aiken which is not so far from me. I visited it once several years ago . Aiken is a very nice looking town. Your Wax begonia are long time bloomers. My mama all ways grew Begonia as house plants. I o not know the type but she kept them beside the windows in the bedroom I always slept in when I stayed with her, as I often did.
