That pine is starting to take off, Tom.
I heard that they could take up to 5 yrs to get out of the grassy-look phase, like your plant, and begin branching. Your plant is also a testament that longleafs can handle snow, too. I heard in the past that branches break under the weight of snow. That doesn't seem to be affecting your plant, lol.
