My apartment did not fall apart by a miracle. My blinds in the living room and bedroom did crack off. I kept three throws over the cage at night. I kept door drafts on the window sills and by the door. I have a very good tolerance for the cold. The fleece pajamas they have out out are completely warm.

I'm just thankful that my pipes didn't burst.
