This is the first time I was in temperature that hit the negative numbers. I'm keeping the heat to 71 and I just ordered thermal curtains. ( A little late I guess). My blinds on three sets of windows cracked off. I have icicles covering my bedroom windows. I have like a tiny patio attached and the snow is like 8 inches high. I had a draft protector by the window sill and a throw. I came home yesterday and found both of them were soaking wet. I probably would have had a leak if it wasn't there. I'm worried sick that our heating system is going to break. I live in an old apartment that the managers think that keeping up with maintenance is a dirty word. Next week is suppose to warm up but it still will be in the 20's, I can handle the cold, all I will do is put on heavy flannel pajamas, it's Max I worry about.
