When I moved in I had planned to slowly renovate/update. Never happened. 8 months in I had to get a new heat pump and that came with a 5 year loan. Then 2008 came along. And the rest is history, finishing up with the special owners assessment out of pocket for the renovation of all the buildings because the city was going to condemn them. They had been built with the defective T1-11 siding used in the 1980s.
