I've had dry socket twice. My dentist semi-retired and his 2 sons joined the practice (I've joked that with all of the money I spent that I put his sons through dental school but it's not too far off the mark) so I went with his oldest son who I really like. He's the first dentist who has pulled a tooth and then put sutures in. They are self-absorbing.
