I went to a local grocery store last night and as I rounded the corner in one of the aisles I saw a small wild bird on the floor. I don't know bird species, maybe a sparrow or a finch? I got what I needed from the aisle and came back looking for it. It was gone. But as I was heading to checkout I could hear its birdsong from one of the aisles. I let the customer serivce people know plus the checker. Unfortunately I don't know what they can do or if they'll even try.
