I'm sure he eventually did. A tagline by the video when I first came across it said that the people initially thought that the squirrel was hurt and they were ready to lend a hand until they realized what was really going on. Laughter is very contagious especially when it's belly laughter. I was laughing as much at the people laughing as I was the squirrel.
