Re: It is a dark, cold, rainy day here today!
I know. It is so sad that there's no easy surgery to help them but they are just too small and fragile. I watch a show called The Great Dr. Scott on my local NBC station Sunday mornings. He's a vet in Australia. Sunday's episode centered around his coming to a married couple's place to clip their 2 chipmunk's nails. The first one got out of his cage before Dr. Scott could towel him so they had to chase him. The chipmunk was all over the place. On top of the blinds, under tables, etc. Dr. Scott finished the clipping, put the chipmunk back in his cage on a perch. The poor thing fell off of his perch and stopped breathing. Dr. Scott performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth. It took awhile but he brought the chipmunk back. He was none the worse for the wear which totally astounded me. Cathy
