Oh yes, absolutely. After a while it felt no different than a regular shoe. And I also adjusted easily to driving. I was careful about stairs, though.But keep in mind that you'll need to buy something called an Evenup shoe leveler. It brings your other foot up in height to be even with the height of the boot so one side isn't lower than the other which can cause hip and back pain. Here's the link to where I bought mine:
