I've decided to hold off on getting the Spinal Cord Stimulation procedure done, and instead, try some Physical Therapy. I just started, and only had 3 sessions. PT gal told me it will take some time before I will (or *should*) see results since I've had this pinched sciatica for over a year now. The longer you have it, the longer it takes to recover. She can only say she can *maybe* get me to 80% better, which she says all her clients reached. One of her clients had it for 5 years, and can live a more comfortable daily life now. S/he still has to do "adjustments" now and then if it flares up a bit, but manages to keep it under control. So I'm hopeful. But I gotta tell ya, yesterday, for whatever reason after I woke up, and about 15 minutes later, I was in the worse pain EVER (I had a session that day), to where I *almost* went to ER. NEVER had it hurt that badly before. I took some pain meds, and it finally eased up. Whewwww! So I'm prepared for some "bad" days during PT. I've also bought a TENS, exact one she uses on me, so I can do TENS treatments at home now as well.
If the PT doesn't help, then I'll have the Spinal Cord Stimulation done. At least I have that to fall back on.
