25 year zone-defining cold snap in some of Mid-south
Posted by Ryan Monroe LA on 2/12/2021, 9:34 am I haven’t posted yard updates in a while, but I have Phoenix and Washingtonian filiferas with 20’ of clear trunk. 15’ satsuma trees and three Brahea armadas with 10’ of clear trunk. A Jubaea that is 12’ overall and lots of trunking Butia I’m considering wrapping the Phoenix trunk with lights and insulation for the first time ever. It survived 9F a few years back but high temps were not below 30 or so...
