In my neighborhood, we have a sidewalk out front and neighbors/passersby fairly frequently express joy in seeing the Palms - though most of my immediate neighbors have never expressed interest in a free Palm. I have given away at least 40 small Trachys to other neighbors and friends, along with a few Dwarf Palmettos. My original Sabal Minor from Woodlanders is now in its 3rd generation. I live on a fairly busy residential street - so a lot of people see the Palms. I joke that someday my property ought to be acquired by the County as a sort of Pocket Park.

I have planted Palms in local Public Parks and Homeless Shelters properties.
