Manihot grahamii with 4 years of trunk

My Manihot grahamii gets knocked to the ground when I have more severe winters than the last 4 winters . My lowest temperature in the last 4 winters was 14F , so the trunk must hardy to that cold . It's become a small tree , both the one in the front yard and the one in the backyard .
I've pruned this one once this season and it's already fully grown back . I pruned it to give more room to the Trachy on its left in the first picture and more light to the Birmingham in the second picture .
I think I will take a trunk picture and add it later .
