I have a Sabal Palmetto 15 years in the ground. A Palmetto. Not a Minor (though I have a few of those too). The Palmetto has no trunk at all after a decade and a half of life. My two same-age Minors are much larger than the Palmetto. I believe the Palmetto was permanently stunted by too many near-fatal winters. But, on the positive side, it IS alive & green. So there's that.
