* the fronds will “bronze” when the Dry Temp dips below 15 F.
* BUT they will also “bronze” with Wet sleet/freezing rain temps of around 29 F.
* Notwithstanding getting defoliated, they have always “come back” with its annual new flush following Zone 7 temps and/or “bronzing” (see above). And remember: it can be a long time between December and June where the Sago has no green fronds. Still, a beautiful plant.
