Hey Will, I am far from an expert on citrus, but I have a few in ground as well. Sometimes the young, tender growth will get zapped, but it ususally puts out new growth as soon as temperatures are warm on a consistent basis. The buds hopefully will be okay. My experience shows they can take a little more cold than new growth. This is all based on my very limited experience with citrus.
