Last year when I was in FL, I noticed that most of of the homes with nice landscaping inland from Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach also had raised fountains. I'm guessing they were raised to prevent animals from using them and kids from falling into them. I didn't see this in Dade, Broward, or Orange Counties in the neighborhoods I was in. Some of them had the most beautiful tile work I've ever seen. Have you noticed the same?
