I have been growing a Ficus benjamina for years indoors . It gets decent light . Its growth is held back by the size of the pot . I water it one gallon a week .
My Nainital is my most robust Trachy . It is really growing fast too .
I keep my Trachys in a pot until they fill out a 3 gallon pot . Even then I get spear pull most winters for a few years sometimes . My Trachy Taylor Form's spears pull for a few more years than my other Trachys for some reason , but my big Taylor Forms are bulletproof now .
Good luck with all your new palms . I need a Waggie .
