Re: Mulching around Palm Bases?

This is my own strategy as well. I have the mulch mounded up around and hugging the base and trunk from Thanksgiving to late March/early April, then I move it away for the growing season.
I've yet to re-cover the base and trunk during summer droughts, but maybe I should.
